About this Episode
For many people the pandemic affected not just daily life, but inspired them to make large-scale changes. In the last year the theater industry has seen a mass exodus of their workers as they seek out careers that offer more reasonable hours and better work-life balance. Jess and Joe point out the similarities they see in the startup world and other industries with very high expectations of their employees. Additionally, they discuss the introduction of captions to many AMC theaters across the country and how this is a move in the right direction for increasing access to entertainment for all.
